STEPHANE BARBATO
Born in France and trained in Decorative Arts, Stéphane started his audiovisual career as art director at agency Euro-RSCG.
Then, in 2002, he made a change for the other side of the camera.
His first film “Play the Game” tells the true story of an English regiment playing football when they launched an attack on German trenches during the 1st world war. The quality of this film allowed him to ask Enio Morricone to compose the original score for the film.
The success of this film soon after earned him a commercial for Umbro.
Stéphane has since been continuing his path in directing commercials for clients such as Williams and Citroën…. He is also a photographer and consultant in computer graphics.
Recently, his beautiful piece for France Galop won the prize for best commercial at the Epona Equestrian Film Festival (Cabourg).
Besides his work in commercials, Stéphane is currently writing two feature scripts and preparing a documentary on Sioux actor and artist Robert Alan Packard.
